Studi Semiotika Representasi Kecantikan Perempuan dalam Serial Drama Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities

چکیده
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan kecantikan perempuan berdasarkan makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos yang terdapat dalam serial drama Guillermo Del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities Episode 4: The Outside. Metode digunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menerapkan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan beberapa temuan sebagai berikut: (1). Representasi ditujukkan digambarkan masyarakat Amerika, negara asal ini. (2). Serial merupakan satir sinis produser sutradara terhadap media khususnya iklan, TV industri kecantikan.
